Celebrating Christine Brewster's 10 years as Curator of the Cater Museum, Billericay, Essex

Monday, 26th Sept 2011. Unknown to Chris, her friends and colleagues had arranged a surprise get-together to celebrate her 10 years as Curator of the Cater Museum. Roy Donavan was responsible for much of the organising and arranged for Chris to enter the Reading Rooms at about 11am. Needless to say Chris was taken completely by surprise. Roy welcomed Chris to the gathering and read out messages from Sylvia Kent, Greta and Geoff Maples and John Baron MP, who were unable to attend. Roy then presented Chris with an engraved carriage clock as a thank you for all her hard work. Once Chris had recovered from her shock, she enjoyed a chat with everybody and tucked into the delicious cakes and drinks.
